Celtic Woman Winnipeg Concert reviews
Feast for the Ears, the Eyes, and the Soul
Looked forward to this concert for months. No PBS ads every 15 minutes like on TV :) Somewhat poor security organization: originally told "no professional cameras allowed" and "no purses larger than 5x8 inches" which must be clear plastic. Just before admitting to the venue, ALL cameras prohibited (except smart phones, of course) and purses admitted. Tucson Music Hall sells drinks in the lobby and allows them into the hall - NICE. The performance was well choreographed and performed; artists all looked like they were having fun. As a church sound technician, I didn't like the house mix; vocals were lost in the instrumentals too many times and male backups were almost non-existent except when they soloed. Otherwise, my bride and I thoroughly enjoyed the venue, the artists, and the performance.
