Dean Lewis Winnipeg reviews
I drove 7 hours to see Dean Lewis
Dean's music helped me get through a very sad time in my life. When I saw Dean was going on tour I was ecstatic but then became sad when I saw he would not be coming to my home state. What did I do? I did what any reasonable fan would do and purchased meet and greet tickets to the closest show to me that I could find. I happily took time off work, booked a hotel room for 2 nights, spent way too much money, and drove 7 hours to attend this show. I was there for Dean's meet and greet/soundcheck. Dean is such a laid back and humble guy. He seemed genuine when you spoke with him and he was just such a kind guy. I didn't know who the opener was but became a fan of Scott Helman after his first song. Scott's energy was amazing. His music was fun and I could feel the words he was singing. When Dean got on stage I was not mentally ready for what was to come. Dean's performance was nothing short of phenomenal. I could feel the music fill the room and it felt like Dean was singing to me and only me. I sang my heart out and could feel myself shaking from the excitement. My heat was full that night and Dean was the reason. I will forever hold a place for Atlanta in my heart, it was the place where, as cheesy as it sounds, my dreams came true. I wouldn't change any experience I had that night. I stayed a little after the show to kind of soak it all in. What did I just do? Is this really over? Did THAT really happen? I got a set list from the show and will be framing that along with my souvenir tickets I got for the show and my picture with Dean. If you have a chance to see Dean Lewis preform live (or Scott Helman, seriously guys - I want to see him headline a show!!) DO IT. You will NOT regret it.
