A 35-year-old man has been apprehended following an unexpected home invasion in south Winnipeg. The incident occurred early Friday when a couple residing on Bayfield Avenue heard knocking at their door around 5:30 a.m. Upon answering, they were confronted by an unidentified man wielding a knife, who forcibly entered their home. The intruder then snatched the glasses off the 48-year-old woman and threatened both her and her 53-year-old partner with a butcher knife.
