Mark Stone Injured During Golden Knights' Victory Over Flames
In a recent match, the captain of the Vegas Golden Knights, Mark Stone, sustained a wrist injury during the third period of their impressive 6-1 win against the Calgary Flames. Following his exit from the game midway through the period, Coach Bruce Cassidy indicated that updates on Stone's condition would be available by Sunday or Monday. Prior to his departure, Stone had an outstanding performance, contributing two goals and two assists, which extended his point streak to six games, totaling 11 assists and two goals. Although Stone has been a key player for the Golden Knights when healthy, he has faced challenges with injuries in recent seasons, having played only 66 games last year, the highest since the 2018-19 season.
